Reserve Firefighter Positions Available The Cities of Alcoa and Maryville are accepting applications for Reserve Firefighters who are interested in working in a shared program between the two Fire Departments. Reserve Firefighters selected for this program will work part time for each Fire Department. Successful applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent; prefer EMT, FF Rookie School, or firefighter experience. Must be flexible to commit to a minimum of two 24-hour shifts each week, one at each City. Pay rate: $10.00+ depending on qualifications. Nepotism policy prohibits hiring relatives of city employees.
