Part-time/PRN Certified Medication Aide or LPN$15/hour Tanager Place is seeking a Certified Medication Aide or LPN to work in our ICFID (Intermediate Care Facility for Intellectually Disabled) Program with pediatric clients. This position will primarily be responsible for Medication Administration to clients. The schedule will be on an as needed basis, mostly on weekends, and will require on-call availability. Requirements:High School Graduate or EquivalentCertified Medication Aide Certification from an accredited 40 hour CMA program OR Licensed Practical NurseCPR Certification Responsibilities:Preparing and administering prescribed medications to clients in compliance with all Facility policies and procedures and Pharmacy Board rules and regulations governing the administration and documentation of medication.Adhering to all Facility policies and procedures and Pharmacy Board rules and regulation regarding the administration and documentation of Controlled Substances.Performing medication administration responsibilities while adhering to all safety principles.Documenting administration of medication on the Medication Administration Record (MAR).Documenting medications not administered on the MAR, and the reason for not being administered.The above responsibilities are a highlight of responsibilities and not a full list.
