We are actively working to strengthen our Community Manager team and develop a world class staff support operation. As a Community Manager, you are the front lines of Upshifter communication—part human resources agent, part customer experience professional, and part technology troubleshooter.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
• Assist Upshifters with a variety of backgrounds, needs, and levels of technological proficiency across multiple channels of communication—phone, chat, and email
• Investigate and resolve payroll, tech, service delivery, and policy issues by understanding and navigating a complex and changing landscape of technology platforms
• Handle sensitive employment information with care and compliance
• Help improve develop and improve scalable processes in order to advance Upshift’s mission to connect millions of workers with millions of shifts
• Be an advocate for and champion of Upshifters
• Conduct individual interviews, presentations, and trainings to gauge quality of the workforce
• Identify and match Upshifters to opportunities that fit their skills and the client’s specifications
• Performance management of Upshifters within assigned account base
• Strategize with Account Manager on all staffing challenges and logistics of large or unique client orders
• Utilize technology platforms to fill client orders in an effective manner
• Develop strong relationships with both clients and Upshifters
• Ensure successful service delivery through operational execution, constant communication and client advocacy
• Create and execute local recruitment plans and other projects as needed
• Maintain effective internal relationships with our Account Management team
