REM Mississippi is seeking a LPN/RN Part-Time Medication Administrator for Laurel, MS Areas

This position is a Fee for Service position and you must be licensed to dispense medication in the State of Mississippi.
Duties will include:

  • Administer medication to individuals
  • Maintains progress and service notes as required and any other appropriate documentation in accordance the The MENTOR Network policy, the Mississippi Department of Mental Health and Mississippi Nursing Practice Law.
  • Completes and submits all required documentation to direct supervisor in accordance with deadlines determined by the State Director
  • Attends training and other meetings as required
  • Reports incidents or maltreatment in accordance with Mentor policy
  • Complies with federal. state and local licensing rules and regulations
  • Promotes position relationships with individuals receiving services, families payors and community representatives
  • Maintains confidentiality, respects human rights and practices universal precautions in accordance with The MENTOR Network policy
