The Customer Master specialists is responsible for customer set-up and changes, utilizing various methods and systems. The Customer Master specialists works under the direction of the Customer Master Supervisor.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
50%- Monitors the overall status of the collection process and provides reports to the Credit Manager
40%- Monitors process and telephone activity of the team to provide feedback and coaching for improvement
10%- Personally may collect, negotiate settlements or promissory notes on high risk, high volume or sensitive accounts
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to the Collection Manager. Has 5 - 10 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Additional Qualifications:
Self-starter with a sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and computer printer
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced level written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of credit concepts as well as credit and collection laws
