A Southside Indianapolis production company is looking for experienced and responsible production technicians. The key responsibility of the production technician would be to assemble electromechanical products from a complete unit or subassembly at a bench through use of blueprint reading, operation of hand and power tools, and some robotic welding and machining. The ideal candidate would be very precise and quality-minded and would have great organizational and communication skills. The company prides itself on being a loyal and professional manufacturing company and was voted one of the best places to work in Johnson County.
Requirements:
-Assembly experience
-Ability to read blueprints
-Operation of hand and power tools
-Ability to read measuring devices and do conversions
-Capable of documenting precisely and organize effectively
-Some robotic welding, soldering and machining background helpful.
This company has an extremely clean and climate controlled environment, and offers great growth opportunities. This position is currently temporary for about 4-6 weeks but there is a high possibility for this to turn into an evaluation to hire job for the right person. 1st shift hours working Mon – Friday 7am – 3:30pm. Pay $13.75/hr to start.
