Established metal fabrication company in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking experience CNC operators to join their 3rd shift team. These are long term, permanent positions at a busy company. Great benefits after hire!
CNC Operator Duties:
- Perform duties to set up and operate CNC machining center to drill holes in blades in accordance with job specifications.
- Work from production schedule, program disks, set up instructions, operating instructions, and prints.
- Review production schedule, pull print and count sheet for the job to be run.
- Pull tools, install and adjust tool length, enter tool speed and feed and check program dimensions against print
- Load material, make test run, spot drill, check dimensions and submit first piece for approval
- Run job, monitor operation, adjust feed and speed and replace tools as necessary.
- Adjust program as necessary based on varying material lengths.
- Inspect parts as scheduled in SPC program.
- Unload parts and transfer holes with pneumatic hand drill.
- Prepare required operation reports.
CNC Operator Qualifications:
- Familiar with Fanuc style controls
- Familiar with G Code Programming
- Capable of assembling and maintaining tooling
- Able to read blueprints
- Able to use measuring instruments
- At least 2 years CNC experience
- Must speak and understand and write English
Hours: 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday | midnight - 8 AM
