The Manager, Business Development is responsible for the development and execution of the overall growth strategy of the business, including business development, acquisition, and execution of new channels of business as well as growth in profitability of existing accounts and client relationships. This position builds an overall understanding of opportunities in varying industries and the individual segments within those industries.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Identifies and executes new business opportunities and is accountable for performance, including ongoing customer proposition including marketing strategy, pricing and product features; sales channel selection and performance; and development and performance of fulfillment processes
* Creates and executes strategic roadmap for externalization of the business into new channels and markets, including definition of required investments and organizational structure
* Creates internal and external relationships to execute all components of the programs, including sales and fulfillment
* Interfaces with Legal and sales channels on all regulatory and product issues
* Interacts with Senior Management to present business reviews and strategies
* Manages teams that monitor and ensure compliance to sale-related processes and programs, and ensures process and program enhancements and improvements are properly incorporated in a timely manner
* Serves as primary interface with any third party partners on all operational processes and issues
* Manages field lead generation Home Improvement In-Store Marketing functions

Job Requirements:
* 5+ years relevant experience, including financial analysis experience
* Operations experience in service or insurance industry, with strong customer orientation
* Analytical and problem solving skills in a data-driven environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
* Ability to influence others to gain support for ideas and successfully implement changes
* Interpersonal skills
* Highly organized, with the ability to combine strategic direction and tactical execution
* Proficient skill in Excel, Word, and other related computer skills
* Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a team
