For more information, please visit The National Retail Facilities Management team is responsible for overseeing T-Mobile's corporate retail store repair, maintenance, and upgrade programs to ensure a safe and un-carrier retail experience. As part of the National Retail Facilities Management team, the Facilities Manager will oversee a regionally based portfolio and will work with the company's outsourced Facilities Management vendor to achieve established service level agreements. It will be the Facilities Manager's responsibility to ensure overall maintenance objectives for the retail stores are met, which may include capital projects, addressing concerns with the landlord, and assisting retail front line members with their concerns or needs for the store. A successful Facilities Manager will partner with other functional areas within T-Mobile to address concerns quickly and efficiently. Minimum Required
  • One year of experience in project management with multiple projects
  • Proficiency using Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, MSWord
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Understanding of construction/project budgets and practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired
  • Prior experience in retail facilities management
  • Experience working cross-functionally with retail teams a plus
 
Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee and approve work being performed with in the retail stores to ensure they are completed timely and meet the company's brand standards
  • Maintain projects within budget and provide Store Development and Operations regular reports on those projects and budgets
  • Seek regular feedback from retail management and act on opportunities presented
  • Identify opportunities for savings or increased value.
  • Work with the Real Estate team and real estate vendors on any necessary facilities based renewal requirements or required upgrades  
  • Provide the Real Estate team with timely information that may be pertinent to lease renewal negotiations
  • Proactively communicate on critical issues related to facilities
  • Manage process improvements to lower total cost of ownership on key facility assets, reduce expenses and company risk
  • Contribute technical resources for capital improvements
  • Maintain internal databases and data as required
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of safety, repair, and maintenance practices for the retail portfolio
