Menomonee Falls company seeks high end CNC Lathe Set-up Machinist
2nd shift 2:45 pm 12:45 am
Pay based on experience - $18+ shift premium
Requirements:
High school graduate or GED
Mechanical aptitude
Non production setting
3+ years CNC Lathe experience including set-up
Offset changes, hold close tolerances, inspect parts
Gibbs Cam or Programming a plus
Duties:
Run turning centers in conjunction with live tooling.
Produce parts off of the CNC lathe machine(s) per print.
Set-up, adjust and operate horizontal lathes to produce parts.
Ability to machine a wide variety of materials with close tolerances per print.
Bar feeder operation / set-up.
Live tooling operation / set-up.
Close tolerance and finish requirements.
Set speeds and feeds, tooling and operational sequences prescribed for complex work.
Use of a variety of precision measuring devices.
Ability to multi-task several jobs.
Ensure the completion of all paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Able to work overtime when requested to meet the needs of customer timelines.
Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
