General Summary

G.O. Rodriguez Trucking Incorporated is a local trucking company, based out of Irwindale, providing logistic services to construction contractors.  G.O. Rodriguez Trucking is seeking an Data Entry Specialist for a fast-paced office environment.  This position requires proficiency in Excel Spreadsheets, QuickBooks, as well as various other office tasks.   

 

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • General administrative duties
  • Data Entry
  • Billing procedures
  • Invoicing
  • Month-end procedures
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Additional duties as required

 

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Computer proficient-Microsoft Office, email, and internet (45+ words per minute)
  • Experienced in QuickBooks
  • Experienced with Excel Spreadsheets
  • Organized and ability to prioritize work constantly
  • Punctual, dependable and possess discretion
  • Flexible and able to meet multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable and courteous on the phone
  • Possesses a strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication skills, eager to learn, and be able to multitask
  • Spanish speaking preferred

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of general office experience, preferably with billing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks and Excel Spreadsheets (45+ words per minute)
  • High school diploma, bachelors coursework
