Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity with one of our clients located in Ontario, CA. They are looking for Reach operators. Successful candidates will Drive forklift truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, Cheery Picker and Reach. May load and unload semi trailer trucks and will be loading, unloading, pulling orders and other warehouse functions as assigned.
1. Workweek is 5 days (Hours of Operation 8:30 to 5pm)
2. Weekend and overtime maybe required as a condition of employment.
3. Ten hour shifts may be required.
Pay Rate: 13.50
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Movement of product from receiving dock to the storage area and consolidating product when possible
Verifying material with label when placing into inventory (Using a RF gun)
Picking product for bulk orders and staging in receiving dock
Picking single carton labels
Sort conveyor line if asked
Load UPS trailer by hand if required
Perform Cycle Counts
Replenish product
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Continuous standing and walking around the facility.
2. Must lift up to 70 pounds on a repetitive basis.
Responsible for:
Cleaning, sweeping and organizes assigned work area.
Cooperates fully with team members in the performance of basic job responsibilities in a team Communicates with dept leads and shift coordinators.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic reasoning skills
Performance of simple math calculations
Reading and comprehending simple instructions in English
Hoist truck experience
Physical abilities to meet the demands of the job
Attention to detail required

Minimum of 6 months recent experience Operating Reach
Must be able to provide reference information, verifying dates of employment and types of equipment operated
Flexible to work overtime
Ability to pass forklift test and validation
Ability to meet production requirements
Ability to operate RF scanner system; previous experience required
Flexibility to be cross trained on equipment and functions
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English
Strong attention to detail
Accuracy with job function
Ability to stand for long periods
Excellent attendance record
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Must be self-motivated, serious about work, with a solid attendance record from past employers
Must have attention to detail, follow instructions from Supervisor
