About this job

Staffmark is looking for experienced Electronic Assemblers to join the team at a large well known production facility in Southeast Georgetown. The ideal employee will have experience working in a fast pace production environment and be able to perform basic solder, wire stripping and terminating.
We are currently looking for ALL level Assemblers.
First and Second Shifts Monday-Friday
7am-3:30pm; 3:30pm-midnight

Responsibilities

Works with production/assembly instructions, parts lists, drawings and verbal instructions to assemble connectors
positions components manually or utilizing a small hand tool such as tweezers
Occasionally operate simple equipment
Concentrate for extended periods of time
Install fixed or turning hardware

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum 5 months to 1 year experience with production of electronic assembly (crimping, soldering etc.)
Ability to read, understand, and perform tasks as instructed by blue prints
Ability to write short correspondence
Ability to perform basic math skills as well as simple measurements
Lift up to 25 lbs

Applicants with current IPC-A-610 experience will have a higher starting compensation
