Basic Job Function Summary: Supports the Homecare Clinical Manager by providing leadership guidance to the professional nursing staff on a day- to-day basis to ensure the provision of homecare services that are consistent with the Trinity Mission, vision, goals, and policies of the program and organization. Responsibilities include mentoring, supervising and providing leadership direction to employees as directed by the Clinical Manager and in compliance with the state's Nursing Practice Act, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, and the organization's policies and procedures. Responsible for the quality of client care outcomes.
Minimal Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Nursing education program, Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Michigan
Two years or more of home healthcare experience.
In CA: two years of home care or primary care experience in the last five years.
Must have current Driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work site.
Ability to consistently demonstrate a commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics, and adhere to the Compliance Program.
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Word, Groupwise, Windows and electronic client documentation software experience required
Ability to effectively supervise and mentor Homecare nursing staff
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment
