The Hancock County Bar Harbor Airport is looking for a part-time Lead Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (LARFF). This is a 20 hour per week part-time position. ??The hourly pay rate is $12.50 per hour or as otherwise approved by the Hancock County Commissioners.???? Primary duties include, but are not limited to responding to emergency and non-emergency incidents which include the provision of medical, fire suppression, and rescue services, ensure emergency equipment is maintained, coordinate work schedules and training for the Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) personnel, assist with airport maintenance and snow removal, and other duties as determined by the Airport Manager.???? Applicants must have prior ARFF experience, Firefighter I or II training certification, a valid driver's license, and be able to lift passengers or heavy equipment in an emergency.??
