Retail Attendants interact with guests to provide product advice and recommendations, answer customer questions, and generate sales. Retail Attendants may be assigned to work in any of our lodges' various retail outlets, including:

  • Gift Shop
  • Candy Shop
  • Creation Station
  • Tattoo
  • Paw Prints
  • Name Shop
  • Kids/Character Store
  • Crocs
  • Spa Host

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily operation of the retail outlet adheres to retail operating procedure guidelines.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and engage in suggestive selling.
  • Assist in merchandising functions including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking, and merchandise pricing.
  • Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting.
  • Ensure retail outlet adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Support Project Green Wolf, our company-wide environmental sustainability initiative.
  • Promote a safe and professional workplace by adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Great Wolf Resorts Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school education or equivalent; may have current enrollment.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to read and write English, and to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Outgoing and assertive personality.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a professional demeanor.
  • Basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and twist.
