Job Summary: A Grand Rapids area logistics company is seeking an account management specialist to join their team. On a day to day basis, this candidate would coordinate with each client from the accounts they are handling on all details, as they pertain to their accounts. Freight measurements and details are all specific to each order, so attention to detail and the ability to coordinate communication with each client is of the utmost importance. Each employee has their own set of clients and each week the orders are reviewed and adjusted. The ideal candidate would be someone who is a great multi-tasker, is a team player, has the ability to effectively communicate with their team members, is approachable, and holds analytical and problem solving skills. The ability to learn proprietary software is a must. Experience with a fast moving production environment ideal, but not required.
Location: Grand Rapids SE
Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: $35,000-$40,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 11:30am-8:00pm
Qualifications: Able to handle a very fast-paced busy environment. Great customer service, personable, be able to easily work with team members. Previous account management experience is a must. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office experience is required. Experience in the transportation industry is a plus. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
