Maintenance Technician

1. Job Overview Organize and maintain facility for cleanliness and food safety. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs as needed and maintains complex mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic and production tools. Ability to balance multiple projects at the same time. Responsible for maintenance of all equipment for the Yuba City plant.

2. Job Dimensions

Plant cleanliness- including sweeping and mopping floors, walls, and windows.

Painting location and visitor lines, walls and floors and needed.

Maintain break areas, office area, and restrooms- Emptying trash including dumpsters, restocking cup and water dispensers.

Making sure areas outside of the plant are free of trash and debris.

Organize/maintain tools in the maintenance department.

Observe mechanical devices in operations and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Manager or other qualified manager.

Dismantles repairs and reassembles complex equipment.

Repairs and replace defective parts.

Use of typical mechanics tools and inspection gages.

Punctuality and adherence to the company attendance policy are essential.

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl ? Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
