About this job

The Product Analyst develops and applies Product Management processes in the design/realization of new product offerings. This position works in concert with senior Product Managers on determining product usability, requirements and prioritization. This position is responsible for supporting the Multi-Channel business by producing thoughtful analytics on products owned, requirements for enhancements generating competitive analysis, as well as ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

The ideal candidate will have an eCommerce background, possess good communication and leadership skills. Overall, the individual will be an active part of an organization focused on innovative business architecture design, operational execution, and channel integration.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with design and engineering teams to develop options to build the right product features.
  • Apply technical, functional and member knowledge to deliver feature specifications that are complete, comprehensible, technically sound, and implementable
  • Ability to deep dive into transaction data to build insights into the web to store business performance.
  • Routinely validate the product/service to gain a thorough understanding and discover potential improvements
  • Ability to define and convey key metrics to help understand business performance as it relates to a member's journey
  • Understanding of web to store order flow and ability to provide continuous improvements to the business performance.
  • Analyze the trends in the ecommerce business by using competitive analysis of similar products in the market.
  • Must have strong problem-solving and communication skills as well as be comfortable with driving actions through data and insights
  • Business acumen: financial, strategic, operational and leadership skills; ability to grasp understanding of business models and key drivers quickly
  • Must have experience executing SQL queries of advanced complexity. Teradata SQL experience is a plus.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • 2+ years related professional experience
  • Advanced analytics capabilities to drive informed decision making
  • Experience in Operational support
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms and ability to utilize the data / tools to guide decision making.
  • Ability to works independently and interface with all levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus.
  • Ability to present analysis and insights to wide range of audience
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
