Insurance Claims Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

Springfield, OH well-established, financial services company seeks fulltime Loss Draft Specialist.

         Full-time schedule, Monday thru Friday.

         $12.50/hr.

Duties include:

         Provide loss draft and property damage requirements, including processing documents and checks, ordering and reviewing inspections, reviewing claims and working loss drafts queues.

         Use computerized system for tracking, information gathering and/or trouble shooting the items raised by the customer.

         Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner.   Ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customers' problems.   

         Maintain accurate records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.

         Make appropriate telephone calls to obtain missing/incomplete documentation, provide progress updates, and otherwise resolve issues.

         Research items received via faxes, reports, and other correspondence and refund/return checks .

         Follow standard procedures and policies as a guide for accurately applying loss drafts processes and resolving customer inquiries.

Requirements include:

         High school diploma or equivalent.

         Good verbal/written communication skills.

         Current updated resum .

         Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).

         Strong attention to detail and customer service skills. 

         Minimum of one year experience in insurance, banking, finance or mortgage servicing or related experience/education.

         Full training provided.

         Prescreen testing required.
