Job Description

The Supervisory Project Coordinator (SPC) is responsible for overseeing a team of project coordinators, delegating as needed, and organizing their efforts. In addition, the SPC will work to develop their own projects from inception through maturity, manifesting and maintaining project programs as directed in support of a 24x7 corporate security operation. This is a contracted full-time position in the client’s downtown Seattle office.

The coordinator will:
  • Administer and drive improvements in project tracking, presenting current stages, progress, and diagnoses of other circumstances
  • Represent and develop a training and onboarding program for a team of specialist project coordinators supporting a wide variety of business functions
  • Set expectations for a team for the evaluation of the team
  • Support the Account Manager in staffing decisions, and support client leadership as an advisor and guarantor of efficiency
  • Organize, prioritize, and delegate to the team concerning projects and component project stages to the wider team and collectives of specialists, as needed
  • Provide oversight in the development, deployment, and maintenance stages of all specialist team projects
  • Ensure the team is maintaining visibility on projects and managing assets the team is responsible for
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the team, managing input, internal workflow, and outputs
  • Update and inform leadership on recommended improvements to standing programs, and the acquisition of new toolsets, both software and hardware
  • Conduct technical briefings to Allied Universal and client leadership
  • Coordinate with a large, nuanced IT department, and third party vendors for resources
  • Design and host trainings with employees, leaders, and operators on constituent tools and policies
  • Ensure the fidelity of data by maintaining Information Security and conducting security audits
  • Oversee the installation of contingent specialized equipment and programs
An SPC candidate should have:
  • At least three (3) years of experience managing a team and complex projects, preferably as a project manager in a security team
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • A Project Management certification (PMP;6Sigma), enrollment in such a course, or similar levels of demonstrable experience
  • The ability to formulate and apply logical protocol in projects and operating environments will ill-defined parameters
  • Comprehension of and ability to interpret complex information from a variety of sources, including technical paperwork, and other overlapping teams
  • Drive and determination to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring the team is meeting set deadlines and checkpoints unilaterally
  • Demonstrable professional experience in project management, determining project needs, scope, timeline, and onboarding feedback from leadership
  • The ability to multi-task across individual, variable assignments
  • Previous experience managing vendors, software assets, hardware assets, and overall program implementation
  • Collaborative skills in engaging individuals, groups, and team, both external and internal to the client
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Exemplary critical thinking, analytical skills, and judgment
  • Professional conduct as a representative of a corporate security team, especially when interacting with leadership and third-party vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
