Position Summary:

Lead cost savings initiatives in the Human Resources (HR) Shared Service Center by implementing process improvements. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

• Partner with the Kroger General Office, Personal Finance Group, divisions and business units to deliver an instant-issue pay card, a means of increasing associate direct deposit adoption and other innovative solutions/alternatives to current procedures to reduce postage expense
• Engage with associates in a manner aligned with a culture of open and honest communication
• Prepare and deliver periodic status/project updates for management
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift and additional hours when necessary
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• 1 year of technology-based systems experience
• 1 year of prior leadership experience
• Knowledge of HR policies/procedures
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organization skills with the ability to work autonomously and multi-task/prioritize projects effectively
• Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• 1 year of prior leadership experience
• 1 year HR systems experience
• 1 year HR shared services experience
