Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembly I (Entry Level) for a contract opportunity in Decatur, AL. As an Mechanical Assembly I, you will ...

  • Assemble component parts, sub-assemblies or completed units. This includes electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural products, instrument, and plastic parts assembly.
  • Use hand tools, small power tools and other special equipment.
  • Receive detailed written and verbal instructions on all work.
  • Operate a truck, crane or forklift.
  • Complete other work that may be assigned at Management’s direction.
  • Use Safety Equipment (Used Safety Boots; Hard Hat; Safety Glasses; Gloves; Fall Protection; Ear Plugs)

Additional Information:

  • Valid Driver's license required. (May go through in house training to obtain certifications for crane/forklift operation.)
  • 11+ months Contract
  • 40 Hours per week
  • Hours are from 11:00 pm – 7:30am
  • Pay rate is $13.60/hr
  • High School or Equivalent
