Machine Operator - Full-time

Adecco is assisting a local client to hire for MACHINE OPERATORS. This is a seasonal temporary opportunity in Tempe, AZ.

Several positions available!  As a MACHINE OPERATOR you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities for MACHINE OPERATOR:

• Operate and maintain equipment including but not limited to digital presses and/or bindery equipment (HP Indigo, Xerox iGen, Lasermax, UV Coaters, etc.)
• Inspecting for adherence to procedures using, visual discrimination, print quality analysis, and judgment.
• Recognizing when routine adjustments are necessary and identifying errors at the earliest possible stage to minimize production rework.

These are the qualities we’re looking for in a MACHINE OPERATOR:

• Must have hard work ethic and ability to learn quickly
• Able to work independently on projects
• Ability to match or detect subtle differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
• Required to take and pass the Workkeys assessment at “Press” level
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office programs and email
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms

Work Days/Hours: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts

• 1st shift – Mon-Wed 4am-4pm & every other Thursday
• 2nd shift – Mon- Wed 4pm-4am
• 3rd shift – Fri – Sun 4am – 4pm & every other Thursday

Pay Rate: $13.50-14.50 plus overtime as needed.
