Job Description:

Home Depot Product Authority LLC, a Home Depot company, is hiring Sr. Software Engineers to develop and/or execute software testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Work independently to write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services and test cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions. Utilize technical expertise to resolve complex issues requiring advanced evaluation of variable factors including technical review of code, infrastructure, data and message processing. Design and/or configure software to optimize operational efficiency and align with business needs. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the duties above, utilize experience in the following skills: software development experience; mobile applications (iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile); Objective-C, C#, C++ or Java; Subversion, GIT, SQL, XML, JSON and Web Services; building complex Android Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers; fundamentals of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
