The Senior Manager, Services Offer Development is responsible for leading the design and development of new services offerings that delight our customers, create strategic differentiation for Best Buy and fuel the growth of our business.? As a part of this role, the Senior Manager, Services Offer Development analyzes strategic, customer and industry insights to create strategic direction, refine existing business models and identify white space opportunities.? This role will work in a project environment with the Customer Experience, Service Engineering, Go-To-Market teams to bring the new services to life.? The role will also work closely with Best Buy?s Strategic Growth office to align strategies and value propositions.

What does a Senior Manager, Services Offer Development do?

They are responsible to hold people accountable to achieving the defined goals and benefits. This role is responsible for:
?
Design New and Improved Services
  • Assemble insights from internal and external trends and evolving customer needs to inform white space opportunities and lead routine assessments of Best Buy?s services offerings and capabilities relative to external landscape.
  • Conduct regular assessments of current state business models with internal partners to look for sizeable revenue opportunities and opportunities to deepen the customer relationship.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for strategic offer design, identify a backlog of new offerings (supported by business strategies, value propositions, pricing strategies and financial models), and work with internal teams to validate, trial and refine new offers.
Support New Offer Incubation and Development
  • Develop new offers with internal partners from trial, to pilot and scale and champion the business justification for new offers to bring stakeholders on board and ensure the end-product realizes the original intent, strategy and value proposition of the offer design.
  • Track performance in trial, pilot and scale and reconcile against early financial models; highlight and reconcile gaps in performance, value realization, and/or meaningful changes in scope.
Advance New Services Strategies
  • Represent and advance Services strategies on relevant cross-functional projects when new Services are being considered, formulated, and incubated.? Work to align Services strategies to relevant strategies in Merchandising and the Strategic Growth Office.

What is required for this role?

We are looking for a Senior Manager that can roll up his/her sleeves to do the work, be a part of a team, but also create and execute on the strategy. The most successful candidate will be someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is forward-thinking, progressive, understands the Services model and has a past track record of significant accomplishments and implementing strategic new offer and business model experience.?

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree
  • 3+ years of progressive business development and/or strategy experience
  • 3+ years of experience building effective business relationships with senior leaders, both internally and externally
  • 3+ years of experience in creating growth opportunities and new business models
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in people and resource management experience
