Sears Analytics team is looking for an experienced Director / Senior Manager Analytics to own our technology roadmap related to Business intelligence tools and launch multiple initiatives across ShopYourWay and other Business units. We are looking for an organized and collaborative Director / Senior Manager to own our technology roadmap, balance competing priorities, bring about consensus across multiple groups, and deliver new tools and systems that will help us accomplish the organization goals.
The Director / Senior Manager of Analytics will also lead team of architects and development team. Besides owning development tasks, this team is responsible for the increasing adoption of BI tools specifically Looker, developing best practices.

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics or equivalent/related degree.
- MBA Degree is plus.
- 8+ Years of experience in any one of the BI tools like Looker, Microstrategy, Tableau etc.
- 5+ Years of Management experience and managing team of 5-10 members.
- Owns the technology roadmap and provides prioritization feedback to our technology team.
- Presents updates on the technology roadmap to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with larger business goals.
- Partner with clients to understand business needs and drive the development & delivery
- Leads regular check-in meetings with business and technology teams. Works to gain consensus, troubleshoot blockers, and move projects forward.
- Establishes and tracks the technology roadmap to ensure the numerous projects are completed on time and meet business requirements.
- Communicates roadmap to various stakeholders and works collaboratively across multiple business and technology teams to gain consensus and align priorities to the overall needs of the Business Unit.
- Clearly communicates the priorities of the business to the technology teams, working to align their schedule with overall business goals on a weekly basis.
- Understand design constrains and create elegant solutions to both present and deliver information for easy consumption.
- Define standards, procedures and best practices for web application design & development.
- Provide L4 support for applications in a production environment.
- Learn and gain deep understanding of SHC business processes.
- Lead re-engineering efforts for existing application to align them with new standards and guidelines.
- Harness operational excellence & continuous improvement with a can do leadership attitude.
- Fosters a collaborative relationship across the technology and business teams.
- Finds creative solutions to remove blockers and keeps projects on track.
- People management and provide guidance to architects and development team.
- Solid Architect, development experience in business intelligence tools like Looker, Microstrategy, Tableau etc.
