Lead and Assistant Teachers in Rochester Hills, MI - Full-time / Part-time

The Goddard School of Rochester Hills is looking for both assistant and lead teachers that are passionate about early childhood education. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
• Promote healthy eating practices at lunch and snack times
• Ensure that children are always within state ratio requirements
• Encourage creativity through art, music, dramatic play and blocks
• Provide a reasonable balance between teacher-directed and child-directed activities
• Plan and implement activities to develop children’s self-esteem and social skills
• Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree or Current CDA

Qualifications

• Must Be 18 years of age
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified, or be willing to obtain
• Must meet state licensing requirements
• A nurturing teaching style
• A commitment to professional development
• Punctual, flexible, enthusiastic, organized, and a team player!
• Able to help maintain a clean, organized, fun, and interactive classroom
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents
• Self-motivated
