Quality Control Technician

Large company which manufactures commercial paints and industrial coatings has a temp to hire opportunity for an experienced QC Technician. Responsibilities will involve performing a variety of routine or standard quality control tests. Will be responsible for basic calculations, documenting results, and making recommendations or material adjustments. Will also assist in Production performing a variety of routine tasks to meet customer orders. Will follow batch ticket to manufacture batch, and other insturctions to complete the paint and coating production or rework process. Will stage, prepare, lifts and load raw materials as required, monitors and adjust guages, valves, switches, pumps according to production requirements; lifts/prepares items required for the filling labeling, packaging and transporting of product.
