Job Description Main OR, Level 1 Trauma, multispecialty Swing shift 1100-2330
Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the first scrub. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of aseptic and surgical technique. Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs. Demonstrates responsible behavior as a healthcare professional.
Requirements •Recent Hospital or previous Surgical Tech practice experience
•Two or more years of Surgical Tech experience required
•Completion of an accredited surgical technology program and Certification through the NBSTSA is highly desired
•Verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment
•High School Diploma or GED is required
•BLS certification required
•Two or more years of Surgical Tech experience required
