Harvest Inspector - Full-time

Oregon Seed Certification Service is currently recruiting a Harvest Inspector for the Klamath area. This position will primarily assist with the inspection of potato tubers and cellars during the potato harvest season. Assisting with the inspection of other crops, such as mint and cereals, as well as sampling and tagging of small grain lots in the Klamath Basin, may be included on an intermittent basis. Traditionally, this position has been well suited for a retired individual, in good physical health, with a working knowledge of potato abnormalities, who doesn't mind a part-time seasonal type work schedule. For the most part, this position is limited to the September-November period of the year, and requires the applicant to have access to personal vehicle that can traverse to remote potato locations.
