Job Description

Allied Universal is searching for Project Manager with strong technology background. Proven record working with Security systems such as Ccure, lenel, Milestone, turnstile install and maintenance, servers and firewall trouble shooting and managing vendor relations. ?

Description:

Provide direct support for the Client and Portfolio Manager in coordinating key initiatives, projects and activities. Oversee and manage specialized functions and projects for the Boston Region including: Systems planning, RFPs and the interface with business partners, vendors and tenants.

Essential Functions: (80% of work week)
  • Manage and conduct all aspects of special project organization, planning and execution as assigned to ensure overall effectiveness and professional consistency in the achievement of the Boston Region objectives.
  • Oversee, coordinate and facilitate special projects that impact multiple areas of the Boston Region to include Access Control Systems, Integration and set up coordination of HVAC systems for New and existing buildings for optimum monitoring by the BPCC and effective working of all lobby desk related systems.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate all system related issues to the IS team and or engineetring teams for resolution.
  • Serve as liaison to all Boston Region divisions to coordinate efforts to implement solutions, and to improve analytic capabilities, reporting and information support.
  • Manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Perform appropriate quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the objectives of assigned projects such as turnstile installations and key tree planning and coordination
  • Participate in business development and strategic planning activities regarding life safety systems for new developments.
  • Play active role in tracking, monitoring and keeping senior management appraised of Boston Region activities.
  • Manage preparation of presentations for Quarterly Reports regarding Boston Region achievements.
  • Build working relationships with outside and on-site vendors necessary for the success of projects assigned.
  • Additional Responsibilities: (20% of work week)
  • Provide assistance to members of the Client Management Team and/or the Boston Region on special projects as requested.
  • Perform other functions as assigned by the Client-Boston Region.
  • Assist the Acount Manager – Control Center, in the fulfillment of his duties as needed.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in an account management or senior technical position with direct involvement in technology related project management
Qualifications
  • Four year degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field
  • Previous Contract Security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience
  • At least 2 years of business management/operations/supervisory experience (depending on size/scope of client).
  • Ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
  • Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude.
