POSITION PURPOSE

The Merchandising Services Sr. Financial Analyst supports the In Store Environment (ISE) Team. The SFA works cross functionally with ISE, Merchandising and Merchandising Finance. This position prepares economic and financial analyses and forecasts for use in the development of financial business decisions. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable presenting and defending their analyses to senior leadership. Some key examples of responsibilities include: developing analyses to support 1) the Merchandising Services strategy around signage and fixtures, 2) investment decisions and 3) capital allocation; forecasting, reporting and analyzing financial results.



MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conducts financial analyses and coordinates with business partners in the preparation of statistical studies.

Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.

Recommends changes in financial methods or procedures.

Advises on the state of the signage and fixtures financial position.

Support ISE leadership.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Under constant pressure to continuously meet tight deadlines, demanding quotas and/or must regularly deal with difficult situations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Financial analysis, strategic thinking, and presentation skills

Technically proficient in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel and Power Point

Strong ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization

Ability to influence without authority

SAP and Tableau experience is a plus, but not required
