Head Housekeeper - Full-time / Part-time

POSITIONSUMMARY:The Head Housekeeper is responsible for the delivery of a clean comfortable room and great service. The Head Housekeeper is required to supervise the work activities of the Clean Team including training, assignment of duties, and inspecting the quality of rooms. The following requirements may change depending on the individual property and may change over time.* People Excellence: Exhibit a Heart for Service for Guests and Team Members with a dedication to great customer service and teamwork* Product Excellence: Ensure the cleanliness of the rooms and the property as outlined in the Clean Team Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)which includes ensuring the 6 Steps to a Clean Room are followed* Active involvement in quality and productivity goals and action plans* Conduct room inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and SOP guidelines* Educate Clean Team in order to achieve average MPR guidelines* Maintain inventory stock and ensure use of authorized Motel 6 / Studio 6 products* Supervise the Clean Team* Issue supplies and equipment as needed* On-going communication with Clean Team, Maintenance Team, and Welcome Team to maximize room readiness and availability* Communicate daily with GM to review goals and instructions and any observations of risk or safety and security concerns* Guest Excellence:* Ensure rooms are clean and properly stocked with supplies for a positive guest experience* Follow "lost and found" policy for items left by guests* Partner Excellence: Support Clean Team by maintaining positive Team Member relations and leading by example* Other duties: Participate in all training and safety meetings.* Perform tasks and duties of Clean Team, Maintenance Team, or Welcome Team as assigned by Management; which may include cross functional job duties* All Team Members are expected to act in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediatelyMINIMUMQUALIFICATIONSANDREQUIREMENTS:* Basic reading and writing skills* Basic communication skills* Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal work instructions
