CNC Operator - Full-time

CNC Operator, West Phoenix, 2nd Shift, $15-17/hour to start.

@Work Group Phoenix's customer, a local manufacturing shop located in West Phoenix, is currently looking for experienced CNC Lathe Operators to join their team. We are looking for individuals with a strong knowledge base, good communication skills, and an individual that has the ability to develop into a supervisory role.

Job duties will include the following.

• Running a CNC Lathe machine using a FANUC control system
• First article inspections
• Use of micrometers and calipers
• Minor program edits using basic G-Codes
• Tool Changes
• Associated paperwork
• Other responsibilities as delegated by supervising staff

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:15pm to 10:30pm

Pay: $15.00-$17.00/hour DOE
Pay Comments: This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with our customer. We desire candidates looking for long-term employment. Eligibility for raise and benefits after permanent hire on.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months recent CNC Lathe Operation experience
• Use of micrometers and calipers
• Experience with FANUC Controller
• Knowledge of G-Codes
• Knowledge of basic programming a +
• Able to set tools
• Manual machining background is a plus
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
• NOTE- This is a safety sensitive position working around automated machinery
