Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Facility Maintenance Tech is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and equipment, coordinating and performing general maintenance and repair in all maintenance-related areas including but not limited to; carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. Must be a team player with strong customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plans scope of work from beginning to end and determines material, equipment and supplies
Needed
· Performs preventative maintenance program duties including record keeping
· Performs minor construction improvements
· Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and machines in the factory
· Assist in the assembly of new equipment and machines
· Coordinates and inspects quality of work performed by outside vendors and contractors
· Performs updates to telephone and voice mail system

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Facilities / Building Maintenance or related technical training or certification preferred

5 years of experience in manufacturing building maintenance or relevant commercial construction

trades

Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, project management and supervision m

Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment

Ability to meet deadlines

Write routine reports and correspondence and PM reports

Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

Basic computer skills MS Word and Excel

Valid CA driver?s license with clean CA DMV record
