Material Handler

Express Employment is partnering with an Indianapolis company that manufactures screw machine parts. This company is looking to bring on an additional material handler to their team.  

Hours: 1st shift, M-F 5am-1:30pm at $13/hr 

Duties include: Move freight, stock, or other materials using forklift trucks, trucks, stock chasers and pallet jacks.

• Load/unload trucks by hand or forklift
• Inspect incoming materials for defects or improper materials.
• Move parts and/or material from pan tags or Manufacturing request in ICIM
• Count parts, operate scales; fill in counts where needed.
• Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data or process information.
• Receive raw material.
• Ship product as needed. Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Count parts, operate scales; fill in counts where needed.
• Operate wash tanks, chip wringer, and scrap handling as needed
• Operate material handling devices making deliveries and pick-ups
