Our customer in Medina, Ohio is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Service and Repair professional with 3+ years experience to fulfill their growing needs. Candidates must have solid manual machining skills and be capable of troubleshooting and completing necessary tool and die adjustments for efficient cold forming operations.

Hours/Shift:
Swing Shift - 5 am to 1:30 pm, 1pm to 9:30 pm, 9 pm to 5:30 am - THE SHIFT TYPICALLY ROTATES EVERY 2 WEEKS UNLESS THE WHOLE TEAM AGREES NOT TO ROTATE, THEY ALWAYS ROTATE!
Requirements include:
3+ years of tool and die experience with manual machines
General knowledge of cold forming
Proven ability to work with others or independently as needed
Key responsibilities include:
Scribing, turning, grinding, and tapping
Troubleshooting, rework and polishing
Honing, pointing & lapping
Microblasting operation
General Heading Die trouble shooting
Die repair and assembly and disassemble process. Die Press machine operation
Utilize the appropriate tooling and related equipment to complete inspections in designated work area as specified by the work instruction
Additional assignments and projects
Required education:
HS Diploma/GED
