Home Health Aide PT or FT

A physically challenged female who lives independently seeks an experienced personal care attendant(s)/ assistant(s) to help with energy conservation and ongoing physical rehabilitation needs to work part-time or full-time hours. Candidates must have good communication and people skills including good reading and writing skills, a history of being well-organized and reliable, and a commitment to health and safety. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with strong ethics who is friendly, patient, energetic with good stamina and someone who is not afraid to learn new things. For example, willingness to learn to use smart phone or computer to submit time sheets will be required. Familiarity with e-mail and texting will also be helpful.The ideal match will have the ability to do the following:Assist with ADLsAssist with walking and physical therapy exercisesAssist with fall prevention as neededLaundry and bed linen changesLight housekeeping to promote healthAssist with errands, shopping, and weekly appointmentsAssist with meals as neededNon-smokers and non-pet owners preferred due to asthma and allergies. Flu shots are required. Adherence to good hygiene and infectious disease prevention will also be required.Flexible hours are available, but late morning, afternoons, and evenings are preferred. Must have reliable childcare to promote reliability. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also needed.Certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, those who are CPR-certified, nursing students, those with experience in companion care, and the like are all encouraged to apply.
