Responsibilities: Responsible for cleaning, disinfection, preparation, processing and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical supplies and equipment. Performs technical details according to written policies and procedures. Maintains expertise in all aspects of area activities. Monitors QA/QC activities and the physical environment. Participates in continuous improvement processes. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. On the job training is provided. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

A skills assessment test will be administered at the time of the interview, and a "PASS" score is required.

Additional Qualifications: Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts. Occassionally lifting of 68 pounds.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Compensation Detail: Minimum rate is $15.62 based upon union contract.

Hours/Pay Period: 40

Schedule Details: Variable 8 hour day shifts.

Weekend Schedule: 1 weekend out of 3
