Pay rate: $14.00 Per Hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday AM Start
Staffmark Drivers is recruiting drivers for a large gasket and fasteners supplier in Southern California. The company continues to grow as more local and worldwide oil refineries are in gasket demands. We are in search for a local Class C delivery driver to operate a 18- 24ft stake-bed with side gates.
Job Description:
This position involves 80-90% operating a Class C Stake Bed Truck 18- 24ft with side gates, and will be exposed to all weather conditions, noisy work environment at local refinery job sites.
Drivers will have anywhere from 10+ deliveries of semi, non metallic gaskets, sealing isolation gaskets, and must be able to lift, pull, push up to 50lbs.
Delivery drivers will also be responsible of securing side gates, strap down all loads before leaving the yard and leaving customer job sites
When not driving, driver will work in a warehouse environment 20-30% of the time, functions will be from warehouse operations, assist warehouse personnel with loading and offloading of own truck for that day's deliveries.
Must provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times, and follow all DOT regulations when driving.
Able to operate a sit down forklift & help out in the warehouse when not driving.
