What you will do:

The Compensation Manager will design, manage, analyze, evaluate, implement, communicate and administer operations and corporate compensation programs to ensure they are aligned with the business strategy and compensation philosophy to attract and retain high caliber talent.  This role will work with HR Business Partners, senior leadership, Legal, Finance, Accounting and other Human Resources team members to ensure these programs meet the needs of the organization.  The Compensation Manager will also lead cross-functional initiatives within the HR Department.

Requirements

What you need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, management, accounting, finance or similar discipline
  • 5 years of recent professional compensation experience working in a corporate compensation role, with at least 1 year at manager level
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred, but not required
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is a plus

Success Traits:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong financial acumen and advanced analytical skills coupled with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and convey findings to all levels of the organization
  • Able to forecast and prepare budgets
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to challenge, persuade and negotiate with all levels of management
  • Ability to think critically, inquire, listen, clarify and solve problems
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy with data and figures
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting when required
  • Internal customer-focused mentality
  • Ability to strictly maintain confidentiality and/or sensitive business information
