A successful University Relations Recruiter will have the following:

  • Bachelor Degree from a four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Executive presence; excellent verbal, written, and communications skills required
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills; ability to understand and professionally respond to customer needs required

We are seeking a passionate University Relations Recruiter, who, like the rest of our dynamic team, does whatever it takes to deliver high quality candidates and advance the DISH brand across the academic community. DISH University Relations is well supported by senior leadership and is considered an integral part of our talent acquisition strategy. As a University Relations Recruiter, you will own university activities with business partners, human resources managers, and team members to ensure that required tasks are completed on time and to expectations. You’ll also be responsible for several universities to travel to and assist business partners in developing relationships with administrators, professors, and students.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Event planning: Plan and execute all internship program events, training sessions, executive dinners and on campus recruiting activities
  • Recruiting: Attract, select and hire college students for internship and full-time positions, conduct phone screens and interviews and onboard new hires
  • Represent the company: Conduct information sessions, student organization presentations and attend career fairs, communicate an employer brand message that reflects our organizational culture and values
  • Data tracking and reporting: Prepare and maintain University Relations related reports, statistics, and metrics as well as distribute as appropriate
  • Relationship management: Build highly workable relationships with DISH executives and team members, candidates and university representatives
