Production Test Technician

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING OPPORTUNITY:

PRODUCTION TEST TECHNICIAN

Pay $13-15.00 per hour

Location:  Auburn, CA

Auburn company in search of a candidate who is able to perform inspection, assembly and testing tasks in a manufacturing environment.  The overall responsibility is to keep the production line flowing in an efficient and orderly manner while maintaining the highest quality standards and minimizing waste due to defective components.

Three must haves for this assignment:

• AA degree in Electronics
• Capable of troubleshooting to the component level
• Attention to detail/QA experience is applicable
• Experience using oscilloscopes and multimeters

• Ability to work with manual and power tools
• Ability to use test equipment and personal computers.
• Sufficient visual acuity to inspect and assemble components.
• Willingness to wear personal protective hearing equipment and clothing.

Technical Skills required:

• Soldering skills sufficient to cleanly and neatly replace thru-hole and surface-mount components on circuit boards without causing further damage.
• A basic understanding of electronic schematics, test parameters, and bill of material lists.
• Functional knowledge of test equipment (DVM and oscilloscope) and ESD procedures.
