A local Ascension Parish industrial company is looking for a Warehouse Worker / General Laborer for the facility’s warehouse and laydown yard. The ideal candidate for our opening has experience using forklifts and is familiar with warehousing processes. The warehouse is a critical area for incoming and outgoing materials for our client.
Pay: Up to $11.00/hour DOE
Warehouse/General Laborer job highlights:
- Assist with maintaining the warehouse and industrial yard, by moving materials, keeping work areas clean, neat and clutter free
- Act as a helper to other team members as needed.
- Use forklift to move materials to/from designated areas
What we look for in Warehouse Workers:
- Experience in maintaining a safe workspace
- Two or more years in a comparable job role
- Steady work history
- Current OSHA basic certification
- Trained to use forklift in warehouse environment
- Drug free
- Criminal background check will be performed
