The WMS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Business System Health.

The WMS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Business System Health.
- Supervises the Wave Planners as well as other associates as needed for system projects.
- Responsible for onboarding & development of the hourly and exempt associates relative to the WM system.
- DC Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the distribution WMS. Supports the DC leadership team to drive overall operational excellence and business health improvement.
- Partners with the WM, IT and DC leadership team to implement changes to processes, reporting, and operational functionality across the DC.
- Report business health to the DC operational leaders, partnering with them to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinates all master data changes in the system for the facility team.
- Reviews system error logs and corrects errors.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years distribution experience.
- Strong knowledge of DC processes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Manhattan experience highly desired.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems to identify “root cause” and achieve desired results.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
Essential Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users.
