Golf Course Maintenance Crew

POSITION: GOLF COURSE GROUNDS STAFF REPORTS TO: GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT POSITION TYPE: FULL TIME FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT POSITION PROFILE: Assist in the maintenance of the Golf Course by performing a variety of tasks to ensure overall exceptional condition of the course. Ability to use both manual and motorized equipment. Attention to detail is a must. May be required to work additional hours during the busy season. Some prior golf course, landscape or similar work experience is helpful and preferred.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:* Utilize manual lawn mower to maintain the greens and tees* Operate riding lawn mower to maintain fairways, roughs and other larger areas* Dispense spraying fertilizers and pesticides per prescribed schedule and as needed* Routinely rake bunkers to maintain groomed appearance* Cut trees and underbrush as needed* Perform all weed-eating and edging* Prepare and lay sod* Maintain irrigation system and make repairs as necessary* Ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions.* Must be able to stoop, bend and climb and lift up to 50lbs.* Must be available to work every other weekend.* High school diploma or equivalent GED* Performs all other duties as directed.
