About this job
Local manufacturing company is looking for an qualified fabricators to add to their growing team. This company is known for creating exceptional, custom product in a strong team oriented environment. This is a full time temp. to hire position with a stable company right in the Champaign-Urbana area.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and build custom parts as needed from blueprints
- Check quality of product for defects and or need for re-work
- Assemble parts
- Operate shears and torches to cut sheet metal.
Requirements
- Experience in fabricating
- Ability to read and construct product from blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs consistently
- Welding experience is preferred.
This is an immediate temp. to hire position! Work schedule will be Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm.
Compensation starts at $11.00 an hour with an increase in pay upon hire.
