Bussers at Mt. Brighton are responsible for the daily cleanliness of the ski area restaurants by cleaning the dining area following the departure of each guest and preparing the dining area for incoming guests. Bussers work efficiently and courteously with guests (both internal and external), exhibit enthusiasm, positivity, and high energy.  Mt. Brighton contributes, promotes and demonstrates Vail Resorts' mission "Experience of a Lifetime" for all of our guests and our team as our daily goal.

As a benefit, employees of Mt. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets tables.
• Stock bar as necessary.
• Clear and clean tables.
• Stock service stations with supplies, beverage, condiments, etc.
• Clean, refresh and straighten service stations and other work areas.
• Perform routine food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Assist with hosting duties as assigned.
• Serve and refill water, bread and coffee as necessary.
• Expedite food and necessary beverages.
• Accommodate guests’ requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of restroom facilities
• Proper disposal of trash
• Be available to fill in as needed any capacity to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age – Preferred
• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends – Required
• High School graduation or equivalent – Preferred

• Previous food and beverage experience – Preferred
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills, attention to detail and timeliness
• Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
• Ability to work well with others while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to engage with customers courteously and efficiently at all times

• Must be able to work independently or in a small team to accomplish daily tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form (in English)
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position including: stand for long periods of time; bend, lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs;, walking, climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
