Job Summary


Perform daily activities and projects for the FGE criteria. Including but not limited to auditing, measuring, documentation, data collection and storage, sorting good from no good parts, repairing, and supporting all departments through whatever means necessary.
Essential Job Responsibilities


Communicate all customer concerns back to appropriate TQA personnel.


Communicate all KLP concerns to appropriate HMA personnel (PQ/PC).


Contain all suspect parts when notified by TQA/Customer.

Feedback actual conditions of suspect parts to TQA.

Repair suspect parts (if needed) per customer repair method.

Identify need for additional manpower.




Identify any other specific circumstances that are occurring but are not causing the customer problems.

Part fit issues.

Appearance Issues

Deform or Damage Issues

Safety Issues




Confirm Critical Data Points.


Additional Job Responsibilities


Identify any recurring rejects.


Confirm KLP part quality prior to entering HMA process.

If parts are acceptable prior to entering process but are deemed unacceptable upon exiting the process then analyze the problem and communicate the effects of the process back to KLP.

Must possess the ability to problem solve and communicate effectively in fast paced production environment.




Assist in tracking Honda Trouble Reports on the HMA portal and follow open items through until closure.


Writing and issuing sort/repair operation standards for any rework or sorting activity that must take place at HMA.


Communicate with sort companies on starting and ending any sort activity that may be necessary.


Track sort results and clearly communicate findings back to KLP, HMA, and feed forward to incoming shifts.

Email Shift Report out at end of every shift to appropriate KLP personnel

Communicate with incoming sort company shift concerning any new sort or any new findings that occur.

Communicate with incoming FGE concerns that might affect upcoming shifts or sort activity.





Perform other Duties as assigned to the satisfaction of the TQA Manager or KLP Management


Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to do the essential functions of the FGE position.

Education/Knowledge
High School Diploma or general equivalent diploma (GED).
Experience
Experience in measurements, computers and mechanical abilities are helpful but not required. Willing to undergo training for the above would be required.
Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.
Communication
Ability to use common sense and understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill

The associate may frequently lift and move about 4 to 8 pounds, and occasionally lift and carry items weighing 20 pounds for a short distance.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
Associates are required to work in a typical manufacturing environment where the temperature is controlled throughout the year, but may occasionally be warm or cool to individual preferences. Associates are required to work an 8-hour day (not including overtime or other factors affecting the production schedule). Associates are required to wear personal protective equipment, which includes uniform and safety shoes (when going into the production area - bump cap, safety glasses, earplugs, sleeves and gloves). Associate must be willing to work any shift as required. Associate must be able to obtain clearance at HMA.
